Time-Irreversibility in Three-Body Scattering The complex evolution of three bodies undergoing a simultaneous collision has long made it one of the most interesting and fruitful systems for study in physics. Using a mechanical formalism developed in part by Prof. Prigogine, researchers at the Center have found new evidence of time irreversiblity in the quantum version of this system.
