Biography

Born in Ames, Iowa; graduated high school in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Education: B.S., Physics/English, Willamette University, Salem, Ore., 1989. Ph.D., Physics, University of Texas at Austin, Dec. 1997.

Research Interests: special relativistic many-body dynamics, chaos, the three-body problem, astrophysics and orbital dynamics, econophysics.

Hobbies: city planning, architecture of public places, japanese poetry, cryptography and encrypticon, java web programming, semantic web design, longhorn cattle competitions
